Due to the nature of Get Hip i did some research as to what kids of an impressionable age were capable of accepting as entertainment. Surprisingly, the most complex and intellectually stimulating venue was that of Comic Books. Despite the flagrant use of idealistic character anatomies, I found the plots more intriguing than primetime TV, the vocabulary at a scholarly level and the moral dilemas presented to be at par with the most acclaimed dramas. Following are examples from several current comic book lines:
