Maqsat is the Dutch provider of satellite communications services, headquartered near Amsterdam. From our main teleport, we offer a complete range of satellite-based communications solutions. Amongst other services, we provide both Internet and Voice connectivity to customers in Africa, the Middle East, Europe, the Far East and South America. Our main teleport is directly co-located with the Amsterdam Internet Exchange at one of the largest telehouse facilities in Europe where all major telecommunications and IP providers are present. Our gateways, a C-band and Ku-band uplink, respectively access the very powerful NSS-7 satellite at 338 degrees east and the high power Europe*Star-1 satellite at 45 degrees east. Maqsat can offer you a whole range of services and products, going from teleport operation and management services, co-location services, satellite bandwidth, Internet connectivity, Voice connectivity, remote VSAT equipment and bandwidth optimization equipment. All our satellite connections are dedicated, 100% CIR, connections and provide you with the highest quality of service. Our existing PES-hub is connected to our Africa gateway and is reserved for backup services for our existing customers. Therefore, it can not be used for your remotes in Iraq and Kuwait. Our engineers do have the knowledge of operating such a hub, however, so if you would be willing to co-locate your hub at our teleport, we could work out an interesting solution. Besides a PES-scenario, we could very quickly set up SCPC connections to standard VSAT remotes, by making use of Europe*Star-1 Ku-band capacity that is avaible right away. We also have a TES-hub operational in our premises, that we could use for covering your area, but I doubt whether this platform would suit your needs.
